Software Engineer

We have a small team of incredibly talented software engineers who are responsible for architecting the entire product over the full stack - from the backend infrastructure to the user interfaces.  We have a small engineering team on purpose - we value ownership and responsibility, and operate with the agile development methodologies. Our mission is to bring on rockstar full stack engineers, and let them do what they do best - build great products.

Responsibilities

  • Architect a system which is used across the world and handles nearly a billion dollars in transactions annually.
  • Own new feature development - from the design to the process of pushing it to the live server - we give you the keys, set you loose, and expect you to do great things.
  • Understand complex technical challenges and implement them in the latest cutting edge technologies - we pride ourselves on being on the bleeding edge of technology and you are our champion for that.

Technical Skills

  • You are well versed in our core technologies - the .NET stack, SQL, and the standard Microsoft web stack.
  • You also understand and love playing with the latest and greatest technologies - Node.js, the latest web standards, cross platform mobile development, etc…
  • Strong engineering background - at least a BS in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Strong algorithmic and technical skills - we write code that interacts with millions of pieces of data every second - your Big-O complexity actually matters.

Most importantly you are extremely intelligent, a go-getter, hungry to write great code and systems, and are driven to improve everything you touch on a day to day basis.

 Hours: 8:30 – 5:30 (M-F)

Network Engineer

We host and manage the servers for our product in a high security, high reliability environment which has resulted in us having 99.9999% uptime for the last 10 years.  In addition we have secure development environments for our engineering and development teams which allows rapid testing and agile development methodologies through latest and greatest engineering tools - our own internal Github, various levels of thorough testing environments, build servers, and VPN access.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and improve our full featured internal network and engineering and build environments.
  • Build and improve an extremely high reliability production server environment (we do backups every 15 minutes of our production database to ensure that our customers have their data no matter what).
  • Use the latest and greatest tools to deliver a bleeding environment for our team internally and our customers externally.
  • Come up with ways of improving our engineering processes - how can we build the infrastructure to make our engineering and support teams' day more efficient, productive, and enjoyable.

Technical Skills

  •     Mastery in configuring and administering complicated networking systems (Cisco, Juniper, etc…)

  •     Ability to learn quickly and come up with innovative and stable solutions to bring our technology platform to the cutting edge every day.
  •     Familiarity with a broad range of computing systems: Windows Server, Linux Servers, Virtual Machines, security policies (SSL, network security, etc..), and redundancy systems, etc…

Solutions Analyst

Responsibilities

The Solutions Analyst has a daily responsibility for analyzing and finding great solutions for simple and complex customer requirements. 

 To be successful in this position, you must possess and be able to execute upon these skill sets

Analytic Capability:  Use a systematic approach to solving problems that involve breaking it into smaller pieces, tracking the implications of situations, generating multiple alternatives, and making comparisons of potential solutions before taking action:

  • Proactively identify, structure, and solve business issues, then determine information needed to solve the business issues
  • Brings about successful resolution of high impact, complex, or chronic problems
  • Consistently demonstrates innovative thinking when generating solution alternatives

Planning and Organizing:  Determine effort and resources required to meet objectives; able to plan, coordinate and manage resources effectively to ensure task completion:

  • Plans for, organizes and coordinates work and resources to respond to data delivery requests and to ensure project goals and timelines are met
  • Holds self and others accountable for meeting timeline and quality standards
  • Ensures client requests are thoroughly understood by the project team and that solutions meet the client’s needs

Client Focus:  Consistently act with client satisfaction in mind and follow through on commitments to ensure the needs of the client are met:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of customer needs and requirements
  • Help customers identify solutions to problems they did not know they had
  • Regularly and proactively communicate with the client-facing teams, including soliciting feedback to continually improving the relationship
  • Demonstrates a strong desire to help customers make their business successful

Education

We prefer candidates with a Bachelor degree; however we understand that higher education isn’t for everyone and that real life experience is just as valuable as a college education.
